By Car
From the motorway A7 : If you come from Lyon or Paris : Get out at Avignon Nord. If you come from Marseille, Nice or Italy : Get out at Avignon Sud. Motorway A9 : Get out Remoulins from Nîmes, Montpellier, or Spain. From the national roads : RN7 or RN100.
By Train
2 Stations : Avignon TGV or Avignon Centre.
- Avignon TGV station is located at the outside of the city center. The station serves Paris-Lyon- Aix en Provence - Marseille and the airports : Paris CDG, Lyon St Exupéry (Ouigo) at only 3 hours. Also from the station take you to the city center of Avignon and some town.
- Avignon Center Station, is located at the remparts of the city, it serves a famous Provence town and also a few big cities (Paris, Lyon, Marseille).
By bicycle
In the area of Avignon, you'll find a lot of bicycle paths. The famous : Viarhona, the climbing Mont Ventoux, La Via Venaissia, Méditerranée à Vélo, in the heart of some typical villages and also around a wine tour : Côte du Rhône.
